From the Front Row - 365 Pro Wrestling Recap - 02.01.2026

This past Friday night (January 2), the Victoria chapter of 365 Nation convened at the First Met United Hall for the dawning of a new era. An era filled with WEEKLY WRESTLING as 365 Pro Wrestling started their ambitious schedule of weekly shows in 2026. As going to 365 is one of the few things keeping me sane in an ever-crumbling world and is, quite frankly, one of my favourite things to write about, I figured a weekly recap might be useful, at least for myself and hopefully for some others. These will be quick notes with jokes, casually and quickly thrown down. I'm not a machine and can't get to every single show (I DO have a life, contrary to what it seems like sometimes), so maybe we'll have a guest recapper here and there. Anyways, this exciting new era of 365 Pro Wrestling kicked off with Holiday Hangover, a 6-match card with three title matches. Let's find out what happened!

1. Rad Dad (c) vs Haviko – 365 Global Championship
Haviko is out first. Late last year Haviko traded in all his long built-up good will with the fans and turned heel after he turned his back on fan-favourite Inferno. He's more hated as a heel than he was loved as a face – and he was reeeaalllly loved as a face. Incredible work. Rad Dad has been holding both of the big 365 belts for so long it would feel strange to have him not come out with both belts. That's a lot of gold. The two hit hard, trading back and forth. Haviko hit a fucking brutal ushigoroshi on Rad Dad that only got a two count. Haviko looked like he was going to take control with some dastardy cheating but wait! A wild Inferno appears! He thwarts Haviko's cheating. Haviko ends up on his back prone, and wham! One of the most beautiful moonsaults I've ever seen Rad Dad throw gets him the win. Rad Dad retains! We are happy.

Stein Time debuts!
Next up we had the debut of Stein Time hosted by Sawyer Stein, the first and only talk show in 365 history. I know the crew and I have been revved up since Stein returned from the Fifth Dimenson at the end of last year. Getting to finally cheer properly for Stein is more than a minor joy. Stein brought out a 67 Christmas tree. I don't know what that means and I don't care to find out. But 67 is popular so I figured I should mention it. Anyways, Stein's first guest was the Don of 365, one half of the Tag Team Champions, Eddie Osbourne. After some chat about the big year ahead for 365, the boys were interrupted by The Rogues (Casey Ferreira & Elliot Tyler). Tyler grabbed a mic and proceeded to verbally destroy Osbourne and Stein. This is two shows in row that Tyler has shown that no one in 365 is touching him on the mic – I hope this trend continues. Even as Tyler finished his evisceration (Shout, dad. IYKYK) of the two men in the ring, we're still kinda on The Rogues' side, because we love The Rogues. But oh no! They are evil now! Ferreira and Tyler unleash a torrent of chair shots - including a particularly brutal one to Obsourne - and wreck the place up only to be chased away by Sawyer's Moment of Truth tag partner, Johnny Rostyn. We're getting The Rogues vs Moment of Truth later tonight.

Zack Andrews vs Damian Caines
We got a heel vs heel match here. The crowd is not really sure who they should cheer for, if anyone. Zack has the remnants of Thelonius' Mitten friends pinned to his knees and it's kind of all I can focus on for the first chunk of the match. Andrews is really good at absorbing hate from the crowd. He clearly feeds on it. Damian Caines hits Andrews with a genuinely lovely and impressive exploder suplex and then a great spinebuster. I'm a sucker for a good spinebuster and this was a beeeeeauuuutiful spinebuster. Andrews got the win after Sadie Caines attempted to interfere on Damian's behalf, only to get stopped by Ref Tim, resulting in Andrews getting ahold of her signature chain and bonking Damian's lights out with it. Big Zack with the cheat attack wins.

Josh Cadwell vs Thelonious Jovinius Harlequin
After a stretched out pair of entrances, we start things off with some highly offensive thin-guy sumo wrestling. Seriously though, this was a fun match full of wrestle bollocks, a brilliant kind of fun indeed. My friend a couple seats down from me was giggling like a schoolgirl through the entire match and that alone was worth it. Cadwell was incredibly disrespectful to Ref Ronny throughout the match, no doubt a result of jealousy at Ronnie's powerful REAL mullet. Thelonious did a 10-punch spot to Cadwell's ass and honestly, it was genuinely a great spot. We are having FUN! Thelonious wins with a pretty sweet neckbreaker that I'm having trouble describing here. Zack Andrews is out with the aforementioned Mitten remnants to taunt Thelonious.

Johnny Rostyn defiant through the beat down.

The Rogues (Casey Ferreira & Elliot Tyler) vs Moment of Truth (Johnny Rostyn & Sawyer Stein)
Let's start this one off by saying how fucking hard fiery babyface Johnny Rostyn goes. I've come a long way in my Rostyn fandom and seeing him get the reaction he got on this night truly filled my heart. He garnered incredible levels of sympy as he got his ass absolutely beaten down by Ferreira and Tyler, who cut the ring in half and kept him away from Stein for a good length of time. Finally Rostyn gets to the corner to tag in Stein, who came in with a, quite frankly, Billy Gunn-level hot tag. That spinning sidewalk slam he does is a thing of beauty. Despite their best effort, victory escapes the Moment of Truth as Ferreira gets the pin and 365s newest monster heel team gets the win.

Dash Dauntless (c) vs Jae-Lynn Hill – 365 Women's Championship
It's speed vs impact as Dash Dauntless steps out to defend their 365 Women's Championship against Jae-Lynn Hill, someone I've been very impressed with in her couple of previous 365 appearances. (Maybe it's only one before this? Shit blurs together.) Dauntless is quick, but Hill hits like a goddamned truck. At one point I thought Hill head-kicked Dauntless into another day. Hill hit a beautiful fisherman suplex that really highlighted her strength as she visibly hoofed Dash up for it. Unfortunately for Hill it only brought her a two-count. Dauntless got the win after a rope-assisted avalanche hurricanrana. Solid match, great finish. Dash Dauntless retains.

Rad Dad (c) vs Lak Siddartha vs Nolan James vs Inferno – 365 Championship
Rad Dad, pulling double duty, puts his second belt on the line in a battle of beloved 365 wrestlers. So nice to have big Nolan James back. (Shout to the Gothic Pikachu back patch on his vest.) Inferno might be the most over guy in the company. The kids I know who attend regularly are fucking obsessed with this guy. I guess Lak is the heel here? But the people love Lak, so I dunno. It's all good though because this is four guys who can wrestle and who have defined characters. This is a big, fun match. Rad Dad is pinned by James and eliminated in like a minute! We're gonna have a new champ! The action is fast and furious. Bodies are flying and Inferno gets hurt. Oh no! Nolan James hits an awesome big boot. Lak does a gorilla press powerslam to Inferno! Lak hits a huge chokeslam on James. Inferno is back! He limps back to the ring, gets up on the ropes and hits a beautiful Swanton Bomb. 1-2-3! Inferno has done it. 365 is entering it's Flame Era. But noooooooo, Inferno pulls of his mask and it's fucking HAVIKO. Haviko, that sumbitch, is now the 365 Champion. We are FURIOUS. This is some classic wrestling nonsense and I love it. If anyone in the crowd tells you they knew Haviko was under the Inferno mask for the win, I promise you, they are lying! Haviko fooled us all, and now we are forced to live in 365's Dark Circus Era.

Maybe Travis Williams can save us…
