Created in March, 2013, Rags Music was started as a place where I could write freely about music I enjoy, regardless of genre or popularity. I love music and want people to know about the music I love, it was really that simple. In over 10 years, I’ve been brought closer to my local music community, met and talked to a variety of artists from all walks of life.

The Roots, my personal top rap act of all time, fronted by the living gawd Black Thought - my personal GOAT - shockingly come to Victoria! Wow! Don’t even need to take a ferry to see them. Incredible stuff. Cannot be missing Danielle Ponder either. I expect her to deliver a fairly spectacular set. We’re also getting Prada Monroe on the mic. The first time I saw Monroe I was completely blown away.
This is a stacked day of music.
